This year's
Regional Technology Conference features two (2) marquee events for
area youth, chapter program development, and STEM [Science,
Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics] participation. Bowie State
University will host this year's BDPA Regional
High School Computer
Competition (HSCC), BDPA
Mid-Atlantic Regional IT Showcase.
INDUSTRY DAY - PART-II is a series of planning
sessions for BDPA Members, Stakeholders, Sponsors, and regional
Chapter Committees.

Today's Presenters | BDPA-DC Industry Day [Part-I]
Ms. Joanne Rawls is the Recruiting Lead for the DOD Practice of Unisys Federal Systems. She has hired information technology professionals in the Washington metropolitan area for over twenty years; and has worked as a technical recruiting consultant for corporations such as General Dynamics and Raytheon.
Ms. Rawls has spent the past ten years working closely with Corporate Security to hire new employees for the intelligence community and other government agencies. She will be joined by other industry executives on our panel for this evening's Q&A session. Dr. Jesse Bemley (DoD/National Guard), is the Chapter's VP for Strategy and Planning and will serve as our moderator.
