Minority Students Wanted For 50 Summer Intern Positions
Good morning, everyone.
As previously mentioned by Dr. Jesse Bemley last weekend and recently covered in bdpatoday newsletters (www.bdpatoday.org), High Performance Computing (HPC) awareness, development, maintenance, training, and staffing requirements rapidly are evolving worldwide.
We need up to 50 interns this summer to explore an unprecedented evolving opportunity. Please allow sufficient time to research this unique opportunity and gather special letter(s) of recommendation from JEF, BDPA, or BDPA sponsors in the supercomputing space. Firms such as Apple, Booz Allen Hamilton, HP, IBM, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, and Tec-Masters/HBCU-MI Project Office [HPO] (www.hpohq.net) are supporting this HPC evolution.
Newsletters, reference materials, other funded GFY-08 Federal Civilian/Defense Programs, and photos from last week's Black Engineer of The Year (BEYA) Expo, Career Fair, and BDPA's Black Family Technology Awareness Week are all available in this Welcome Centre (in the FILES & MEDIA zone.)
Student Memberships in JEF and BDPA (highly encouraged for student resumes and recommendation letters) are availble. The relationships we own will open new doors for you. Join a local BDPA chapter today! We have BDPA Chapters near several of the sites listed below.
Respectfully submitted,
Perry Carter
President, BDPA-DC
