Contract Job for experienced IT professionals

An opportunity to provide full system life-cycle for an application reporting system in the Washington, DC.-VA area.

Looking for an individual or a small company capable of providing full system life-cycle including post installation maintenance and support. System delivery has an aggressive timeline. There is also the potential for future enhancement to the system in the form of additional ad-hoc reports. Respondent must be capable of creating a database, designing and producing the front-end application to provide access to data and to create a function within the system to produce the required reports on demand. The responding entity must be capable of creating an application installation package and/or procedure compatible with the target environment. Respondent may also be responsible for training users. Post installation, the respondent must be available to provide maintenance and support to the application system for one year and perhaps longer. Preference goes to respondents with a base in the metropolitan Washington, DC. area, having references from successful full life-cycle delivery to government entities. Experience with pharmaceutical/healthcare and/or retail domains is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility standards is a plus. Commitment to designing usable systems is a plus.
