Washington--For most BDPA Chapters throughout the United States, the road to Philadelphia (National BDPA Technology Conference in 2010) began last quarter with successful implementations of emerging STEM programs.

Each year, BDPA chapters host fundraising events in direct support of their respective local or regional High School Computer Competition (HSCC) and IT Showcase (ITSC) programs for next fiscal year.

As our nation, state and local governments, and communities continue to put more 'skin in the STEM game', BDPA Chapters appreciate continual support of their goals to advance technical careers from the classroom to the boardroom.

Towards this end, request individual contributions, increased corporate investments, and neighborhood support for the following annual award banquets and fundraising  events that may be of strategic importance to underserved communities near you.

Use these events to identify new careers, contracts, scholarships, and internships in 2010. For additional networking events and industry trends, follow our success stories and testimonials on bdpatoday or BETF's Blog.
