Bowie State University

NAVAIR & HPCMP Opportunities | Applications due April 15, 2009

This month, Bowie State University (BSU) will host a special workshop for instructors and students interested in a variety of internship programs for fiscal years 2009 and 2010. Instructors, parents, and students are asked to review JEOM requirements online prior to attending this workshop.  Other summer and fall intern opportunities also will be presented.


APBi For Interns 

This special pre-application workshop has been arranged by the University for Monday, April 6, 2009, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at the Thurgood Marshall Library, in the Special Collections Room, Second Floor and is open to the public. This year's APBi also will include scholarship information and feature regional opportunities in government.
 

Who Should Attend 
University students, community college students, and high school students (some area school systems  begin Spring Break this week) seeking internships in 2009 and 2010. Faculty, parents, and human capital professionals are encouraged to attend.

 

Pre-Registration is FREE and Requested

All disciplines are invited to share insights with various industry vertical markets and share their respective emerging Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) requirements during question and answer periods. Transportation

Visitor parking on campus is free in LOT "E". BSU also is accessible by Metrobus and the Maryland Commuter Rail (MARC) Penn Line. From Washington or Virginia and points south and west, transfer to MARC's Penn Line via Metro or Amtrak from Union Station or New Carrollton. From Baltimore or Delaware, transfer to MARC's Penn Line via Amtrak from Penn Station or Thurgood Marshall BWI Airport.
